Lampwork bead sets
Sets of handmade beads in boro glass for making up into bracelets,
necklaces and other jewellery. I am working more and more with
borosilicate (boro) glass, which is ideal for jewellery making. It
provides a colour palette and style of working that I love. This glass
is known for it's clarity and strength and has a
colour palette very different from soft glass. Colours tend to be
mysterious, shifting with the light, and subtle/natural in tone -
though the colours come alive in sunlight. I find that it lends itself
well to textures and 'movement' both on the surface and cased under a
layer of clear glass.
